East Middle School robotics team advances to regionals

East Campus's Middle School robotics team finished second at the Singapore Schools qualifying round, earning a place at October's regional finals. The team, made up of eight Grade 7 and 8 students, spent the past two terms designing and iterating on their competition robot during weekly after-school sessions.

"What impressed the judges most wasn't the robot — it was how calmly the team debugged it live during the final round," said the team's supervising teacher.
